WORLDS ‘22 ONE & ONLY CHAMPION

The LEAGUE OF LEGENDS ‘22 World’s final match loaned itself to emotional sports story that we were enthusiastic to tell. Two teams— each with leaders who were classmates at the same high school in South Korea— now finding themselves at the final match of the most prestigious esports event of the year globally.

On one side, you have FAKER, the greatest League of Legends pro gamer to ever compete (with three Worlds titles under his belt); and on the other, you have DEFT, one of the most underrated player to ever grace the rift with no Worlds wins to his name.

We strove to tell a story that was heart-felt, true to their stories, but also impressionistic showing the high pressure of the moment, as well as the grand spectacle of the final match|
