Josh Frackleton is a commercial director based in Los Angeles, California.
Since 2017, Josh has built a career directing commercials and digital content for some of the world’s leading brands, including Riot Games, Epic Games (Fortnite), Disney, adidas, Lexus, HP, Steam, Capcom, Blizzard, and Dropbox.
His work has taken him across the globe, having directed in over ten countries throughout Asia, Europe, and North and South America.
Josh graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in Television, Radio & Film.
Throughout college, he wrote, shot, and directed his own projects, building a strong foundation in the three core pillars of filmmaking. After moving to Los Angeles, his skills in post-production opened the door to work as a generalist — taking on roles as a compositor, 3D motion designer, and editor across various digital and reality TV projects. Along the way, he also explored production design and music composition, further expanding his creative toolkit.
Today, Josh brings a holistic understanding of the entire production process and remains deeply involved from development through post-production.
Josh is most widely recognized for his award-winning work in gaming and esports.
Josh has directed content, commercials and documentaries for some of the most prestigious esports events in the world, including League of Legends Worlds and VALORANT Champions. His work has earned him an Emmy and garnered over 100 million views worldwide.
