CHAMPIONS SEOUL (OPENING)
VALORANT Champions 2024, the fourth edition of the tournament, was held in Seoul, South Korea, from August 1–24, 2024. As the pinnacle event of the Valorant competitive calendar, it attracted record-breaking global attention, with over 2.4 million peak concurrent viewers, making it one of the most-watched Valorant tournaments to date.
Riot approached us with the idea of leaning into the theme of time — reflecting not just on the tournament’s legacy, but on the broader, cyclical nature of competition itself. Inspired by this, we decided to expand the scope beyond the event, exploring the metaphysical concept of time as a circle — how beginnings and endings often mirror each other.
